The Geothermal plant is a building in Terra Nil that provides power to neighbouring Buildings in a radius of 80+ tiles. The three middle tiles of the building must be placed on top of Invalid tile "lava" defined. in order to place the building. The geothermal plant is part of the Tier 1 Buildings and is exclusive to the Polar region.
Like the Turbine, geothermal plants cannot be built within range of each other. All tiles within an existing turbine's radius will be unavailable for building a new turbine. As long as the three lava tile requirement is met, only one valid tile outside an existing plant's radius is required. This allows the power radius of multiple plants to overlap.
Each geothermal plant can power up to ten buildings.
