The Solar Amplifier is a building in Terra Nil that is used to concentrate sunlight to aid in burning Fynbos tiles to create Ash tiles and Invalid tile "Burntbuilding" defined. tiles or to allow the Temperature Pylon to function and Forest to grow. The Solar Amplifier is part of the Tier 2 Buildings.

The solar amplifier must be built within range of both power and Fynbos. If there are no Fynbos tiles within range, it will be unable to start a controlled burn.

Controlled burn

To create a controlled burn, first select the solar amplifier, then select a valid Fynbos tile. The fire will start on the selected tile and spread to all Fynbos and Greenery tiles directly connected to it. Tiles that are diagonally adjacent to the burning tile will not be ignited. After the fire passes, the tile will be converted to Ash.

Buildings that are connected to a burning tile will also burn, turning into Invalid tile "Burntbuilding" defined.. Arboretums can only be placed on Invalid tile "Burntbuilding" defined..
